Big Apple Basketball offers credited and non-credited internship opportunities for college and graduate students seeking real-world experience in the sports and nonprofit sectors. Interns gain valuable skills and mentorship while contributing to areas such as sports management, marketing and communications, event planning, business development, media and design, community engagement, and organizational operations.

Since 1999, Big Apple Basketball has worked with thousands of players, coaches, interns, and families — from pros and college athletes to high school players, youth participants, and recreational adults. Every participant, partner, and supporter has played a role in shaping our community and carrying our mission forward.
Throughout the year, we host Alumni Basketball Runs, Fitness Workouts, Networking Mixers, and Community Gatherings that bring together former players, coaches, interns, volunteers, and supporters from every era of Big Apple Basketball. These events are designed to help alumni reconnect, stay active, and celebrate the lifelong bonds created through our programs.
